OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2009. Aeroflot Russian Airlines has introduced a new business-class servicing concept “Room Service by Aeroflot” on Moscow – St. Petersburg flights. The main idea behind the project is to expand the service range and improve the quality of servicing under “Aeroflot Shuttle” program, to improve customer satisfaction with the product and the customer loyalty to the Aeroflot brand, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

The air connection between Moscow and St. Petersburg is the shortest but at the same time the most load-bearing line in Aeroflot’s route network. The company operates 12 its own regular daily flights.

Aeroflot Shuttle program, launched in July 2008, offers prolonged check-in ending 20 minutes before flight departure, baggage dispensing time reduced to 15 minutes after arrival, faster boarding and unboarding. Now, the program has been supplemented by the new servicing concept.

For instance, passengers have a better opportunity to individually plan their journey, have their newspapers, meals or drinks delivered at their convenient time. Before a flight, passengers are offered a cocktail prepared by the company’s special formula. The cocktails are served on a tray with fresh mint and decorative napkins. All meals use natural ingredients only. Breakfast menu includes omelet, warm buns, fruit, and orange juice. For lunch dessert, passengers are offered ice-cream, which has become a special feature of Aeroflot menu. Before dinner, passengers are served an evening cocktail.

The program pays a special attention to provision of passenger in-flight information by chief flight attendant. Specially trained personnel has been employed to service the line connecting the two Russian capitals in order to not only ensure prompter in-flight servicing but at the same time improve its quality.
