Kazakhtelecom JSC starts to provide Megaline wireless Internet access on base of EV DO up-to-date technology, which is traditional CDMA protocol spread, in the goals of development of broadband Internet access   of Kazakhtelecom JSC. Almaty became start platform for realization of the project. Thus, Megaline becomes mobile, reported the press-centre of Kazakhtelecom.   

New tariff plans Megaline Mobile Start and Megaline Mobile Plus are assigned for legal entities, individuals and business owners.

Access speed by tariff plans Megaline Mobile Start and Megaline Mobile Plus to Internet by incoming / outgoing channels is dynamically (adaptively, depending on technical parameters of data transfer network) changed up to 256 Kbit /s / 256 Kbit /s, at that min access speed by incoming / outgoing channel, is a guaranteed one and depends on region of location of base station, remoteness from base station, quality of signal, hour of max load, subscribers, served by base station at connecting.

Monthly subscribers’ fee by tariff plan Megaline Mobile Start with volume of prepaid traffic of 1 GB composes 2 400 tenge with VAT included. By tariff plan Megaline Mobile Plus with volume of prepaid traffic of 3 GB– 4260 tenge with VAT included. Size of payment per each next 10 MB of incoming traffic composes 32, 82 tenge with VAT included. About 11 base stations EV-DO are installed in Almaty today.

This project on providing wireless Internet access of Kazakhtelecom JSC realizes jointly with ALTEL JSC on base of EV-DO technology (Evolution-Data Optimized), used in all cellular networks of CDMA standard for data transfer. EV-DO technology allows distributing existing services of broadband Internet access Megaline, by presenting access to subscribers irrespective of cabling.

At that EV-DO subscribers are offered to secure complete list of services, available to Megaline subscribers, that is to perform integration of two access technologies under one brand Megaline.
In 2010 Kazakhtelecom JSC plans to launch services Megaline Mobile in Astana, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Atyrau, Aktau and Aktobe.
