OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2009. Eurasian Bank (Almaty), a company listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided KASE with a press release, reported the press-centre of KASE:

Eurasian Bank began crediting small and middle businesses under the state program Damu-Koldau.

The program aims to support small and middle businesses through direct crediting under guarantee of second-tier banks.

Eurasian Bank and the Damu fund approved the first project for a total of KZT50 m, of which KZT25 m the Bank issued from own funds, and issued a guarantee for remaining KZT25 m.

To implement the Damu-Koldau program the Damu fund issued KZT3 bn. Limit for one borrower is KZT750 m. The maximum crediting term is 78 months, for refilling of working capital - up to 36 months. Interest rate for borrower on funds of Damu is 8.5 % APR + 4 % for the bank guarantee.
