OREANDA-NEWS. October 5, 2009. Unibank started operation with new money transfer system  LEADER, thus having developed cooperation with  international company operators of analogous money transfer systems up to seven.

The bank said that LEADER is one of the top money transfer systems in CIS for individuals without opening bank accounts, LEADER has 7,000 receiving centers in more than 20 countries including, Russia,  all countries of CIS, USA, Spain, China, Israel, the Czech Republic, Greece, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Turkey and Estonia.

The distinguishing quality of LEADER is that it combines swift services with minimum costs and reliability guarantees. In addition, in LEADER, only the sender of money pays the transfer fee.

“Providing the quality and competitive services, the LEADER International Money Transfers is oriented for the broadest range of our customers,’ says Guney Akhundova, the Retail Business Development Supervisor with Unibank. She said also that the customers of Unibank who will use LEADER can receive inbound transfers in Russian roubles as well as in USD and EUR.

“LEADER uses the modern technologies permitting instant transfers. The tariffs of the system that start at 1.2% in Unibank make up one of the chief advantages of this system,’ Ms Akhundova said.

When money is sent or received via the transfer systems at Unibank, all customers receive the opportunity to get bonuses. For instance, anyone who has received or sent \\$/EUR 500 or RUR 20,000 or more during the day will get the  cell phone scratch card ( the card  with contours ) as a bonus.
