Even though the industry of finance both globally and locally currently is going through hardships it still reveals certain success stories displaying confidence of the customers and the general public in specific brand-names. One of the most brilliant in this industry, according to the results of the top "most loved" brands published by "Kapitals" magazine is DnB NORD Banka - its recognition and confidence in the bank by the public over the past year has grown by 43%. It is the highest positive change ratio within the industry this year, reported the press-centre of DnB NORD Banka.

The CEO of DnB NORD Banka Andris Ozolins says: "Denomination implied by the name of the top, i.e. most loved brands has not been the Bank's end in itself, yet it clearly signifies what brands are most appreciated and relied upon among the general public. I am satisfied that activities of DnB NORD Banka and determination of our shareholders in spite of rather strained situation to continuously reinforce the capacity of DnB NORD Banka have obviously facilitated trust and acknowledgement from the customers."

He also adds that to the results in addition to the high quality of the Bank's services retained also during the course of strained economic situation probably have contributed the activities implemented by DnB NORD Banka that directly interrelate with the present situation, i.e. consultations and positive information provided by the portal Nekrize.lv established by the Bank, monthly sociologic surveys conducted by DnB NORD Latvian barometer as well as inspiring materials underlying topical programs and series of articles under the headline "Latvia can!". "These are our "three whales" whereupon we ground the Bank's social activities and interest in public progress in Latvia, and we are definitely going to carry on with them in order to create a positive point of reference in public sentiments in long run," adds A.Ozolins.
