OREANDA-NEWS. October 9, 2009. Aeroflot-Nord has been officially included into IATA’s IOSA Register (IATA Operational Safety Audit) after the airline had successfully passed the audit on compliance with operational safety standards.

The audit was completed in May 2009 by auditors from WAKE (QA) Ltd. In the course of the audit the airline has made alterations and amendments to documents and technologies used before the audit. Operational safety audit shall ensure higher quality of the airline’s activities in the sphere of flight control management, flight procedures fulfillment, flight activities and cabin crew activities control, as well as in the sphere of technical-engineering and ground handling, aviation safety.

Aeroflot-Nord’s inclusion into the IOSA Register means that the company is recognized by aviation community as the airline complying with the international operational safety and quality standards. IOSA Certificate shall allow Aeroflot-Nord to successfully develop its cooperation with Aeroflot and other interline partners.
