OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2009. Turkmenistan presents the domestically produced agricultural products in Moscow for the first time. 29 countries worldwide including Turkmenistan as well as 50 regions of the Russian Federation are the participants of XI Russian Agricultural Exhibition Golden Autumn-2009. The forum, which will take place at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre from October 9 through October 12, presents the expositions of all the agricultural sectors including agricultural machinery construction, crop production, agricultural chemistry, animal breeding, food industry and bioenergetics.

The Food Industry Association and the State Committee of Fishing Industry present the large-scale expositions of meat, dairy and fat-and-oil, confectionary and sugar, beer and non-alcoholic, wine, fruit and vegetable industries in the 12-hectare pavilion.

Turkmenistan presents a wide range of various food products including different kinds of sausages, cheese, butter, condensed milk, ice-cream, kefir, sour cream, tomato paste and ketchup, fruit and vegetable juices, beverages, fresh and tinned fruits and vegetables. In Moscow Turkmen producers present the exotic products – grape, water-melon, melon oils and even oils from tomato seeds along with popular cottonseed, sesame, corn, sunflower and olive oils.

The generous gifts of the Caspian Sea and other water bodies make up a major part of Turkmenistan’s exposition. The exposition of the State Committee of Fishing Industry presents seafood and fresh, smoked and tinned fish and stockfish of all kinds.

Turkmen wine-makers present the new products – liqueurs Comuc, Yandak and Narpyzly and wonderful Turkmen wines. The Turkmen wines are the winners of the prestige international contests including the Yalta. Golden Griffin-2009 International Contest, which is conducted in Crimea each year. The Turkmen wines and cognacs participate in the wine contest, which is arranged within the framework of the Golden Autumn-2009Agricultural Exhibition.

The exposition of agricultural equipment and the agricultural fair occupy five pavilions and open-air grounds in the central part of the All-Russia Exhibition Centre. The samples of agricultural equipment as well as products are presented there. Numerous demonstrations and presentation programmes complement the exposition.

Luxemburg, Australia, Bulgaria, India, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Switzerland are represented at the forum in Moscow. The enterprises from Germany, Italy, Nederland, the United States, Slovenia, Lithuania and a number of other countries present the collective expositions.

The Golden Autumn-2009 ranks among the largest agricultural exhibitions in the world. This annual forum, which is organized since 2000, brings together over 60,000 specialists including the largest agricultural equipment producers, groups of the leading agricultural companies, food enterprises, livestock breeding complexes, research institutes and financial organisations.

This year’s exhibition is some kind of a rehearsal of the large-scale CIS agricultural forum, which will be held in the Turkmen capital this November.
