OREANDA-NEWS. October 13, 2009. In September 2009, VAB Bank continued the determined effort towards implementation of its retail customer oriented development strategy, reported the press-centre of VAB Bank.

10 September marked the successful completion of the Extra Income programme which helped the Bank raise nearly UAH 450 m through entering into over 20 thousand deposit agreements.  As it is seen from this result, the clients appreciated the programme, which offered an opportunity to earn an interest mark-up – plus 2% for hrivnia deposits and plus 1% for dollar and Euro ones, – for its true value.

On 18 September, VAB Bank launched the new Weekly Deposit product, working ideally for clients wishing to place cash for short time and earn a maximum income.  At the end of a 7-day term a depositor has a choice of withdrawing money or extending the deposit for another term.  As of 1 October 2009, VAB Bank raised over UAH 18.5 m by this product which evidences its customer attractiveness.

This September saw the award ceremony crowning the Tough Car with a Deposit programme: Ms Elena Diskant, entrepreneur from Cherkassy, was presented keys for the long-awaited chief award, Hummer H3 offroader.

VAB Bank has been implementing new attractive special programmes for holders of deposit cards.  The Golden Offer programme offers qualifying clients the opportunity to register a MasterСard Gold or a VISA Gold card for free.  In the two weeks the programme has been underway the Bank has been able to attract over UAH 3 m to Active Savings card accounts; nearly 700 clients registered free premium-class plastic cards.

In another development, holders of Visa/Visa Electron cards issued by VAB Bank were invited to participate in the programme “Take Your Visa/Visa Electron to the FIFA 2010 World Football Championship!”  Participating in the playout requires to make a purchase or order a service worth at least UAH 100 using a Visa/Visa Electron card.

We remind that the Active Savings programme became 6 months old this September.  During that time the Bank has been able to attract nearly UAH 145 m to programme accounts.  In the past month alone the programme raised UAH 30 m, which demonstrates rapid escalation of this product’s popularity among customers.

Also, a purchase agreement for SmartVista based new payment card service system was signed.  Implementation of the SmartVista based solution will help optimise retail business processes and will accelerate introduction of innovative plastic card products and services to the market.

Over 50 new payroll project agreements were signed throughout September proving adequate orientation of VAB Bank’s client policy and attractiveness of offers made to payroll plastic holders.

Also, the Bank added to its collection of investment coins.  The new Orthodox Saints series of silver coins has been offered, including Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon, St Euphrosyne of Polotsk, St Seraphim of Sarov, St Sergius of Radonezh, and   St Nicholas the Wonderworker.

In his comment VAB Bank chairman Mr Peter Baron said, “By rapidly responding to client needs our bank develops programmes and projects that are increasingly attractive.  This month, we introduced a number of unique financial solutions and comprehensive deposit programmes valued by the customers for their true value.  In addition, seeking to sustain client loyalty, we continued working on beneficial special programmes helping customers to significantly upgrade their earnings and improve their wealth.  Our next plans include further work towards the best service and the most attractive services in the country’s finance market.”
