OREANDA-NEWS. Next, 31st session of the Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy (MSAP) in May 2010 will be in Moscow.

32nd MSAP session will take place in autumn 2010 in Dushanbe (the Republic of Tadjikistan).

Those decisions were made at the 30th session of the Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy in Yerevan (the Republic of Armenia).

The Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy (MSAP) was formed in 1993 г. under the Agreement on pursuit of coordinated antimonopoly policy of 23rd December 1993 (further on referred to a the Agreement) to coordinate activities of the CIS member-states for creating legal and organisations basis for preventing, restricting and eliminating monopolistic activities and unfair competition in the CIS single economic space.

MSAP holds its sessions on a regular basis at least two times per year, usually rotating between capital cities of the CIS member-states.

MSAP sessions provide their participants an opportunity to discuss the trends of competition policy in the CIS member-states, exchange information about the latest changes to competition law in their jurisdictions and law enforcement practice, and share experience of antimonopoly investigations in various markets.
