OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2009. Oranta National Joint Stock Insurance Company launched another full-scale national advertising campaign, whose aim was not only to strengthen the company's positions on the market, but also to increase people's insurance awareness and to popularize the insurance culture. The campaign will last untill the end of 2009. The campaign’s commercial can be seen on Inter, ICTV, Noviy Channel, K1, NTN, ORT, UT-1, Era, and TRK Ukraine TV-channels. In addition, the company plans to have outdoor advertising and to place advertisements in national press and online.

“The concept of the advertising campaign is based on history. We think we found some interesting historical facts that are directly connected with the birth of insurance in the entire world. The campaign consists of three story lines. The first one is about Ukrainian ox-cart drivers who collected a common fund for their fellow-drivers injured en route. The common fund is a prototype of the first insurance funds. The second story is about London fire in 1666, after which Nicolas Barbon created the first insurance company, which covered losses of homeless victims of the fire. And finally, the third story is about the first insured car in New York.

I am sure that this is a logical idea for Oranta since the company has a long history in Ukraine and is a part of the world's insurance history. Oranta has what its competitors will not have for a long time—a successful history. The company has been working, developing and leading on Ukrainian market since 1921. We believe that this competitive advantage should be developed through communication and advertising campaigns. We are very glad that the client took the idea.

The campaign will be interesting because it has some educational information. It will be beautiful because we tried to make it highly artistic. We want Oranta's clients to understand that the company's history is a guaranty of its reliability. Oranta was, is, and will be!" said Mr. Georgiy Mayorov, president of InHouse developmental agency.
