OREANDA-NEWS. October 16, 2009. JSC "The Seventh Continent" (further referred to as the Company) 9M 2009 trade sales in ruble terms increased 11% YoY. September 2009 sales growth 7%.

Based on management accounts the Company's 9M 2009 gross retail sales[1] reached 35 084 mn. rubles and September 2009 gross retail sales reached 3 784 mn. rubles.

9M 2009 Like-For-Like sales (LFL) increased 3.4%, driven by traffic growth of 3.9% and average ticket decline of -0.5%.

As of the end of September 2009 the selling space of the Company's stores under the brands "The Seventh Continent", "Nash Hypermarket" and "Prostore" accounts for 177.2  th. sq. m. and increased 5% compared with the same period of 2008.
