OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2009. Air company "Aviacon Tzitotrans" has instilled into exploitation complex automatic planning and managing system of flights OpenSky. The author of the system is Regional information and computer center "Pulkovo", it is one of the oldest native creators of automatic systems and informational decisions for enterprises of aviation branch.

OpenSky is intended for long-term and short-term planning and managing of flights. The program reflects all the information about the preparations and the flight itself. This system is based on the module principle and includes some subsystems.

Since the 1 of September four systems have worked successfully in the industrial regimen, planning and managing system of flights was instilled into experimental exploitation. Since "Aviacon Tzitotrans" is specialized in cargo transportation, the system OpenSky was essentially completed taking into account the needs of cargo air company. So, an additional module was created, which supports the base data of commercial contracts of cargo transportation, planning and managing of transportation, screening the course of contracts’ carrying out.

"The using of this automatic system allows the team of "Aviacon Tzitotrans" to optimize the interaction of different departments in the air company, to plan and manage the cargo transportation more effectively and also to watch all the flights and their preparations", noticed the chairman of the Directors Board of air company "Aviacon Tzitotrans" Valery Saveljev.

* The first introduction of this system was done in 2005 in "State Transport company "Rossia". Four years later this system was introduced in some companies more: "Uralskiye Avialinii", "Aeroflot–Nord", "Aeroflot-Don", "Orenburgskiye avialinii".
