OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2009. An annual training of the Russian and foreign airline representatives has been conducted in Vladivostok Air, as a result of which there have been passed into tests and have been given out certificates on the right of realization of company public relations.

In order to raise the performance level of representatives locally in connection with requirement toughening presented to them during three days it has been passed seasonal preparation of airline representatives.

The meeting has been opened by the first Deputy General Director of Vladivostok Air OJSC I.E. Bagelfer. He has acquainted attendants with the work results of the company activity for 9 months of 2009, presented features of the winter schedule of flights and charter programs and described long-term plans of the airline development in 2010.

For the expired period of this year Vladivostok Air has transported 836 406 passengers that is greater by 28,7% than in the similar period of 2008. On the international airlines the growth has made 48,3%, and on internal — 20,7%. It is should be noticed that for the first time in history in the near future Vladivostok Air is going to transport the millionth passenger, and by the end of the year to ferry 1,1–1,2 million persons. The airline plans to increase this factor by third in 2010.

Carrying out the steady activity monitoring of each representatives, Vladivostok Air management has made decision to change existing employee incentive scheme. In particular, salary accounting is occurred from efficiency and performance quality standards. Such factors, as cost cutting, flight regularity, absence/presence of passenger complaints, armchair occupancy are considered. Specific targets on work improvement are set to representatives at the local level that henceforth they have been being the basic tool of corporate strategy realization of Vladivostok Air in regions of Russia and abroad.

At the meeting it has been also discussed items with representatives, concerning engineering familiarization. Recently Vladivostok Air fleet has been replenished with the second Airbus А330, one more A320 will be arrived in the near future.

During three days of the meeting-seminar, almost all Deputy General Directors, Heads of services and divisions have appeared before representatives who by reason of the specific nature of their activities directly cooperate with representatives in regions.

In the course of constructive conversations and discussion of current questions, colleagues have exchanged views on improvement of teamwork efficiency, passenger service level at the airports, increasing of flight regularity and interactions with an agency network.

For today the company has a wide network of representatives in Russian and foreign cities: Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Sochi, Ekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Kemerovo, Abakan, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Blagoveshchensk, Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Magadan, Yakutsk, and also in Beijing, Harbin, Hanoi, Seoul, Pusan, Tokyo, Niigata, Toyama and in Frankfurt am Main.
