OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2009. For two years in succession Petrozavodskmash was awarded with the rank of the Russia's Best Exporter of Machine-Building Industry. One of the enterprise's reliable foreign partners is Norwegian company MIRAS MULTIMASKIN. Recently a meeting with representatives of Norwegian firm MIRAS MULTIMASKIN took place at the Petrozavodskmash resulting in signing several addenda to the frame contract for 2010.

Petrozavodskmash has been supporting cooperation with MIRAS MULTIMASKIN – the biggest machine-building company in Norway – since 2000. The Norwegian company specializes in the equipment delivered worldwide – for oil and gas extraction, power generating and raw material processing industries. The frame contract establishes general rules of trade technical requirements to the goods produced, and and addenda is signed for every specific delivery specifying volumes and terms.

According to the said addenda, next year Petrozavodskmash will make 18 complete sets of parts of the winches for lifting facilities of offshore oil platforms and sea-crafts.

Chief of the bureau of external economic relations of Petrozavodskmash Vitaly Kuskov makes comments on results of the meeting:

– During the meeting with MIRAS MULTIMASKIN Purchasing Director Mr Bjorn-Einar Nesengmu we have reached the agreement that MIRAS MULTIMASKIN undertakes to award the order of 18 complete sets of fabricated metals to our enterprise, while Petrozavodskmash, in turn, will observe strict requirements to quality of production and terms of shipment. As for the more close prospects of cooperation, we have reached the agreement that Petrozavodsk factory will make the additional complete set of hoists before February 2010, besides 27 ordered earlier for 2009.

Both parties agreed that they will take all measures to have the contract scope increased.
