OREANDA-NEWS. November 03, 2009. ROSNO’s Orenburg branch has paid an insurance compensation of 104,600 roubles to the farm MTS AK Tashlinsky, following the loss of a stud horse owned by the said farm, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Eleven pedigree horses belonging to this agricultural farm based near Orenburg have been covered by ROSNO insurance protection for the fifth consecutive year. Within the insured period, ROSNO reimbursed the farm for three insured accidents in the aggregate amount of 273,800 roubles. The last compensation was paid due to the loss of a horse named Linguist to heart failure induced by a disease.

ROSNO insures pedigree horses, racing horses, amateur horses and rented horses against such risks as death, forced slaughter in case of a disease, accidents, death of a brood-mare due to pregnancy and delivery, death of an offspring, loss (to theft, robbery or brigandage), value loss due to traumatic damage, and horse owner’s civil liability to third parties. The farms covered by ROSNO insurance protection are based in Krasnodar Kraj, Stavropol Kraj, Republic of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Khakassia, the Orenburg Region, the Saratov Region, the Arkhangelsk Region, and the Moscow Region. ROSNO’s coverage applies to stables, paddocks, pastures, contest areas, and animal transportation routes.
