OREANDA-NEWS. November 05, 2009. More than 100,000 square metres of housing will have been developed in Marfino Township located within northeastern Moscow this year.

Moscow’s first deputy mayor Vladimir Resin told journalists on October 31 that over 100,000 square metres of housing would have been built in Marfino ahead of the 2009 schedule.

According to the official, 70,000 square metres of housing were commissioned in the township last year, this year the figure has gone up to 124,000 square metres. All the new-built and finished flats are in great demand among Muscovites and they are almost sold out.

Mr Resin added that, besides the residential buildings, 16 parking garages were to be commissioned in northeastern Moscow in 2009 under the Popular Garage program.
