OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2009. Sheremetyevo Terminal D (Sheremetyevo-3) will gradually start receiving flights of Aeroflot-Russian Airlines and its partners. According to the Terminal D’s preliminary start-up plan, in the period of 15th-20th of November seven “Aeroflot” domestic flights, mainly from the Far East, are to be moved to Terminal D.   

The second phase is to take place in the period of 6th of December - 6th of February, when 46 domestic and 77 international flights of Aeroflot-Russian Airlines, as well as all flights of Aeroflot-Nord, are to be moved to Terminal D.

December 19th, 2009 – 5N899/899, 793/794 – Chelyabinsk;
December 25th, 2009  – 5N701/702 – Anapa;
December 26th, 2009 – 5N563/564 – Omsk;
December 26th, 2009 – 5N501/502 – Syktyvkar;
December 27th, 2009 – 5N119/117, 5N118/115, 5N116/120 – Arkhangelsk;
December 27th, 2009 – 5N521/522, 5N555/556 – Murmansk;
December 28th, 2009 – 5N311/312 – Naryan-Mar.
 
Please note that beginning from the above mentioned dates passenger and luggage check-in is to be performed at Sheremetyevo Terminal D.
Distinctive feature of Terminal D is its transport connection with Moscow. Terminal D is directly connected with the railway station from where direct express trains run to Savyolovsky and Belorussky Railway Stations in Moscow. 
Terminal D (Sheremetyevo-3) is a modern complex providing services for arriving and departing passengers. Passenger turnover of Terminal D is planned to be up to 12 million passengers per year. The Terminal’s infrastructure comprises 159 check-in counters, including 24 self-check-in kiosks, and 104 passport control counters. Terminal D is situated next to the international Sheremetyevo-2 Terminal.
