OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2009. Raj Tanna is appoinetd a Chief Operating Officer of Deutsche Bank in Russia. He succeeded Mikhail Yudin, who took the newly created position of Chief Administrative Officer.

Raj Tanna is appoinetd a Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Deutsche Bank in Russia. He succeeded Mikhail Yudin, who took the newly created position of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).

Raj is now responsible for corporate governance, strategy, market positioning and performance management of the Bank. In addition, he will oversee Group Audit, Compliance, Finance, GTO and Tax. In his new role, Mikhail will retain responsibility for all other infrastructure and control functions, including Communications, CRES, CSBC, HR and Legal. Raj and Mikhail will co-chair Operating Committee.

Raj joined from Dresdner Kleinwort where he worked during the last 11 years in the Global Equities business and Strategy & Business Development in London, working with the Executive Committee. Most recently, he was based in DKIB in Moscow as Advisor to help stabilize and develop the Russian franchise. Prior to DKIB, Raj worked at Lehman Brothers in London and Tokyo.

Mikhail performed a key role in the successful integration of UFG and contributed to the further development of Deutsche Bank`s platform in Russia.
