OREANDA-NEWS. November 17, 2009. State support for Belarusian companies amounted to 716.658 billion Belarusian rubles (Br) in January-September 2009, according to the website of the Finance Ministry.

Budget loans and credits amounted to 529.514 billion rubles, partial payment of interests on bank loans from the state budget to 86.303 billion rubles, financial assistance to companies to 52.084 billion rubles, respites to make payments to the state budget and Social Security Fund reached 36.249 billion rubles, and tax credits were at 390 million rubles.

Furthermore, the Finance Ministry met its obligations under the government guarantees for bank loans totaling 12.114 billion rubles.

Bellesbumprom concern accounted for 47.371 billion rubles’ worth of state support, including 23.573 billion rubles’ worth of partial payments of interests on loans.

The Industry Ministry received 44.643 billion rubles of state support, including 27.899 billion rubles’ worth of budget loans.

Bellegprom received 32.325 billion rubles in state support, with respites to transfer budget payments almost at half of this sum, at 16.564 billion rubles.

Belgospischeprom organizations were granted 23.87 billion rubles’ worth of state support, most of it being state loans and credits, at 20.948 billion rubles.

Agricultural producers received 9.008 billion rubles in support, or them 3.724 billion rubles of respite of budget payments.

Organizations subordinate to local authorities received 448.384 billion rubles of support, which included 431.148 billion rubles’ worth of budget loans.

Other corporate entities received 111.058 billion rubles of state support.

State support more than quadrupled in the third quarter compared with the second quarter figures, to 551.161 billion rubles.
