OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2009. Ukraine’s holding Nemiroff considers establishing a licensed or contractual production of vodka at a Belarusian distillery, the chairman of Belgospischeprom concern Ivan Danchenko told reporters.

The output will be supplied to the domestic market and exported.

Nemiroff may be granted a production quota of 1 million decaliters annually.

The Belarusian side plans to oblige Nemiroff to use Belarusian spirit, sugar, lemon acid and Belarusian glass-making and packing facilities.

Nemiroff and Belgospischeprom in October 2009 signed a framework agreement on the possibility of licensed or contractual production of vodka in Belarus. The Belarusian partner of Nemiroff has not been named yet.
