OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2009. Belarus-based OAO Brestskoe Pivo brewery’s output of beer decreased 11.1% year-on-year in January-October 2009 to 2.231 million decaliters, a representative in the company told.

Mineral water output went down 15.1% to 151,200 decaliters.

The output of soft drinks decreased 3.6% to 538,000 decaliters, while grape wine output decreased 33.7% to 54,000 decaliters.

Fruit wine production rose 0.2% to.434,000 decaliters.

Brestskoe Pivo was founded in 1967 and transformed into a joint-stock company with a state stake of 85%. Overall commodity output decreased in the first ten months of the year 8.2% to 51.787 billion Belarusian rubles (Br).
