OREANDA-NEWS. November 20, 2009. In 2010 the Gomselmash Production Association will deliver at least 300 machine sets to the Kostanai diesel plant. This is 1.5 times up from 2008. The agreement was reached during the negotiations with representatives of the Agromashholding company, Gomselmash’s main partner in Kazakhstan.

Cooperation between Gomselmash and the Kostanai diesel plant started in 2008. Then the Kostanai plant assembled 56 КЗР-740 ЕSSIL harvesters designed on the basis of the Belarusian КЗС-7 combine harvester.

According to Igor Korotkevich, the equipment has proved efficient during the harvesting campaign in Kazakhstan. The harvesters received positive reviews especially their reliability. This factor played a crucial role in increasing the output as the volume of deliveries directly correlates with the number of orders from agricultural companies.

Gomselmash was set up in 1978 at the premises of the Gomselmash enterprise that was founded in 1930. Gomselmash is a multi-business producer of machines designed to cultivate and harvest crops using contemporary agrarian technologies. The Gomselmash line-up includes machines for harvesting grain, forage crops, sugar beet, potato, as well as mowers and machines for complex soil cultivation. The company’s designing, manufacturing and maintenance practices are certified for compliance with the international quality management system ISO 9001-2001. At present the company employs 17,000 people.
