OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2009. The Saint Petersburg retail network O’KEY opened its first hypermarket in Moscow.

“A newly opened O’KEY store is the 45th one within the network and the largest one in Russia,” a press service of O’KEY said. The total area of its shopping space exceeds 11,300 square metres.

The first O’KEY hypermarket was opened in Saint Petersburg in May 2002. Today the company has 45 stores throughout Russia.

O’KEY drew a net income of 1.560 billion roubles (~USD 54 million) in 2008 that is 2.3 times more than a year before. The receipts rose by 64.6 per cent, up to 50.274 billion roubles (~USD 1.734 billion).

O’KEY retail network is possessed by Dorinda Holding based in Luxemburg.
