OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2009. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) opened its Community Liaison Office, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

At the Community Liaison Office citizens will be able to get consultation about:

- the work of FAS Russia,

- the role of Antimonopoly Service in the system of the federal executive bodies and its scope of reference,

- issues related to preparing documents to be forwarded to FAS Russia,

- the procedures for drawing petitions (complains, statements) by citizens and organizations for filing to FAS Russia,

- procedural issues of processing cases and complaints by FAS Russia, etc.

From 9th November 2009 officers of industry departments of the Central Office of FAS Russia were received citizens at the Community Liaison Office of FAS Russia by appointments.

Officers from the Department for Control Fuel and Industry Complex will be the first to see citizens on the issues within the scope of reference of FAS Russia.

If citizens have questions related to specific work of a particular unit of FAS Russia, they also will be able to get a full first-hand answer.

Officers of the FAS Russia's departments receive citizens according to the schedule, which can be found at the FAS Russia's web-site or directly from the Liaison Office.

The Community Liaison Office of FAS Russia will also summarize and analyze the issues of concern to the citizens. The most popular questions will be published at the official web-site of FAS Russia.

Establishing the feed-back between society and the antimonopoly bodies will enable the norms and standards of the competition law better serve the end-users.

Citizens are received by the officers of the Liaison Office according to the following schedule: Monday and Wednesday - from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., lunch break from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday - from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., lunch break - from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., Friday - from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., lunch break - from midday to 1 p.m.

The Community Liaison Office of FAS Russia is located on the first floor of the building of the Antimonopoly Service at 11, Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya St., and is open to public.
