OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2009. The State Customs Committee informs that according to customs pay-in slips for Jan-Oct of the year individuals imported consumer goods for US180.799 million.

“The indicator is by 15.54% (US 33.27 million) less compared to the 2008 same term’s figure,” it was reported.

At the same time this year it was registered monthly fall of such import between March and May. It started growing again in June, reduced again between July and August, rose in September and fell in October. While in January of the year country’s citizens declared goods for US 19.094 million and in February for US 23.122 million, in March the figure declined to US 20.856 million, in April to US 17.116 million, in May to US 14.684 million, in June to US 17.226 million, US 17.043 million in July, in August to US 16.89 million, in September US 17.567 million and in October US 17.195 million.

For Jan-Oct 2009 overall import totaled US 4.956 bn with the share of import by individuals at the level of 4.84% (US 239.8 million).
