OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2009. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, it has been stipulated by the slump in production at the enterprises of extracting industry – by 32,2 %, processing industry – 26 % and power sector – 4,8 %.

The reduction in volumes of the industrial output was also due to the decline in the output of enterprises engaged in the production of nonmetallic mineral products – by 41,6 %; clothes – 14,2 %; wines– 23,9 %, dairy products– 8,9 %, in production, processing and conservation of meat and meat products – 21,4 %, processing and conservation of fruits and vegetables – 39 %; production of rubber and plastic products – 32,8 %, distilled alcoholic drinks – 22,9 % and textile products– 33 %.

The production of furniture has decreased by 21,5 %, footwear – 51,6 %, paper and cardboard – 35,6 %, chemicals- by 9,5 %. At the same time, in January-October, 2009, the volumes of output have increased at enterprises producing poultry meat- by 1,6 times, ready forage for animals - 1,5 times, plastic products - by 25,4 %, knitted goods –12,5 %, cars and electric equipment - 9,5 %, tobacco products -1,6 %, etc. As compared with October, 2008, the volume of the industrial output has decreased by 22,6 %.
