OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2009. Alfa-Bank (Ukraine) has decided to terminate cooperation with rating agency Moody’s Investors Service. At the same time, Alfa-Bank (Ukraine) will continue to be rated by the international rating agency Standard & Poor’s, reported the press-centre of Alfa-Bank.

“In the context of inactiveness in the international capital markets, we consider cooperation with one rating agency as sufficient for business activity. Thus, the Bank terminated its contractual relationship with Moody’s and requested to withdraw its ratings” , - Head of Capital Markets Andrey Bobyshev said, “This decision allows us to optimize expenses of the Bank. At the same time, we would like to emphasize that Alfa-Bank (Ukraine) will still follow high transparent standards and will continue to be open for its investors, partners and customers. We are grateful to international rating agency Moody’s Investors Service for the years of partner cooperation.”
