OREANDA-NEWS. December 03, 2009. In January-October 2009, the industrial output in Moldova has declined by 24,1% as compared to the same period of the last year. According to the CIS Statistical Committee, the reduction in the industrial output average for CIS countries made 13% (+5% in January-October 2008).

The greatest decline was registered in the Ukraine - 26,4%, Kyrgyzstan -13,9%, Russia - 13,3% and Armenia - 11,4%. Industrial production in Tajikistan fell by 8,6%, in Kazakhstan - by 0,2%. At the same time, the industrial output in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan (January-September), has grown by 7,4% and 9,1%, respectively.

According to the CIS Statistical Committee, in October 2009 the volume of industrial production in Moldova as compared with the previous month has grown by 6,4%, while the average growth in CIS countries has made 2%.
