OREANDA-NEWS. December 03, 2009. According to KVBZ < KVBZ UK U/R > CEO Mr. V. Pryhodko's press release, the Company will cut its freight car production by 2.2 times down to 3,000 cars by 2010.  Its planned shift to work five days a week has already helped them to produce about 500 freight cars in November 2009.

Millennium Capital expected a reduction in the Company’s output in 2009 because of a sharp decline in demand for rail cars. That is why this news did not come as a surprise for Millennium Capital. Almost all of the local railcar manufactures have to cope with this situation. The announced data of the KVBZ output level in 2009 and an expected growth in demand for the railcar production in 2010 support our optimistic view on the Company’s stocks.
