OREANDA-NEWS. December 04, 2009. Vidmantas Paukste, the Director for Infrastructure of Port Authority and Nadezda Kuzina, the Head of Project Implementation Group of Infrastructure Service of Port Authority participated in the meetings with experts from JASPERS and representatives of DG-TREN and DG-REGIO. These meetings were organized in Brussels (Belgium), reported the press-centre of Klaipeda Port.

The goal of these meetings were consultations related with the financing of the project „Construction of Klaipeda Passengers and Cargo Ferry Terminal“ executed by Port Authority from EU funds.
 
These meetings in Brussels with representatives of EC were initiated by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania considering the preparation of feasibility study and application for EU support of the Project „Construction of Infrastructure of Passenger and Cargo Ferry Terminal“. The total project may be of great value and may be acknowledged as State support, therefore it is necessary to consult with experts from JASPERS and representatives with European Commission while preparing feasibility study
 
During the meeting comprehensive information on Project and future feasibility study was submitted.
 
Representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania and a representative of from SE Transport and Road Research Institute, the Contractor for feasibility study project and application for EU support, participated in this meeting as well.
