OREANDA-NEWS. December 04, 2009. Corporate Charity Program Receives Highest Ranking among Russian Chemicals Companies for Second Year in a Row byVedomosti, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Donors’ Forum.

The Russian Corporate Charity Research 2008 survey named EuroChem’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program the “Best program promoting local community development and social climate improvement in regions where the company operates”. This is the second time the company has been ranked among Russia’s leading charity givers.

The Russian Corporate Charity Research 2008 project is jointly run by Vedomosti, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Donors’ Forum non-profit partnership of grant-giving organisations, with support from the Russian Federation Ministry of Economic Development, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and the Public Chamber’s committee for charity and non-profit organisation legislation. This project is the most respected Russian contest in the sphere of CSR and corporate charity programs. Over 60 leading Russian companies took part in the contest in 2009.

For two years in a row, EuroChem has lead the ranking for CSR and charity programs among Russia’s chemical industry companies.

Following the results of the research, EuroChem’s CSR programs will be submitted to the 4th Russian Conference “Social Partnership and the Development of Civic Institutions,” held by the Russian Federation Ministry of Economic Development, and will be included in a book highlighting exemplary social projects of 2008.
