OREANDA-NEWS. December 07, 2009. Belarus’ internal debt increased 4.6% on the month in September to 9.493 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of November 1, 2009, an official with Belarus’ Finance Ministry.

Internal debt rose 1% in January-October in real terms (adjusted for inflation).

Internal debt increased by 908 billion rubles in January-October 2009, or 0.8% of GDP, the official said.

Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounts for 49.74%, short-term debt for 0% and the debt secured by the government for 50.26%.
