OREANDA-NEWS. December 07, 2009. The city authorities of Moscow plan to have a road bridge over Dmitrovskoe Highway overhauled near Rustaveli Street.

According to a source from City Hall, the development will cost 112.5 million roubles (~USD 3.75 million) to be allocated from Moscow’s budget funds.

“The cost of the civil and erection works is 80.7 million roubles (~USD 2.7 million), the other expenses will exceed 30 million roubles (~USD 1 million),” the official specified.

The overhaul project foresees the redevelopment of the bridge floor and isolation joints as well as the repair of the concrete surface of the breast wall.

“Besides, it is planned to reconstruct the rainfall run-off at Dmitrovskoe Highway near the road bridge and to arrange green spaces in the nearby area,” the source added.

The overhaul is expected to be done in less than half a year. A start date for the work has not been announced yet.
