OREANDA-NEWS. December 08, 2009. A regular issue of Ambassador magazine of Poland published an article entitled “Uzbekistan – Yesterday and Today”, describing a stable economic development and successful Anti-crisis program of Uzbekistan.

As the edition underlines, “nowadays economies of many countries of the world have met difficulties related to consequences of the global financial-economic crisis. Politicians, economists, bankers and businessmen are looking for ways to solve this complicated situation”.

At the same time, thanks to timely implementation of measures stipulated by the Anti-crisis program, Uzbekistan’s economy steadily develops, demonstrating high figures. One of factors of economic growth have become rapid increase of investments”.

“Ambassador” attracted attention to successful reforms in Uzbekistan, which allow the country to quickly overcome the crisis. In a relatively short period of time Uzbekistan has become one of the leading industrially developing states of the region and a major exporter of manufactured goods.

The editorial wrote, “maintenance of stable tempo of economic development in the country in conditions of the global financial-economic crisis is highly appraised by heads of international financial organizations”.

The article’s author believes that Uzbekistan’s decision to establish Navoi free industrial-economic zone presents to potential investors real chance to successfully do their business in conditions of financial slowdown, overcome its negative consequences.
