OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2009. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has approved a number of international draft agreements.

They are a draft protocol on introducing amendments to the agreement on the collection of indirect taxes on export and import and on providing works and services in the Customs Union from 25 January 2008, a draft protocol on the collection of indirect taxes and control over tax payment while exporting or importing goods to the Customs Union, a draft protocol on the collection of indirect taxes on works and services in the Customs Union.

The President also approved a draft agreement on the mutual recognition of the accreditation made by certification bodies and testing laboratories, a draft agreement on the circulation of products subject to mandatory assessment of conformity on the customs territory of the Customs Union.

Apart from that, the Belarusian leader affirmed the Customs Union draft agreement on technical regulations, sanitary and phytosanitary control.

Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorsky has been authorized to hold the relevant negotiations and sign the documents.
