OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2009. The Russian Bank for Development is conducting a series of regional seminars on the SME Lending Support Program. In cooperation with OPORA-CREDIT a scheduled specialized conference with participation of representatives from the Administration of the Kaliningrad Oblast, banks, SME infrastructure support entities, SMEs and NGOs was held in Kaliningradm, reported the press-centre of RBD.

As Nadezhda Martynova, Deputy Chairman of RBD stated in her report the undrawn amount of the regional limit of RUR 258 million has reached RUR 39 million.

“As of today there are 4 banks involved in the program in the Kaliningrad Oblast”, she said expressing confidence that the regional limit will be used completely. N.Martynova said that if the Bank receives additional loan applications, the Supervisory Board will consider the matter of enlarging the regional limit.

During the conference N.Martynova answered the questions of entrepreneurs, representatives from banks and SME infrastructure support entities per their participation in the program and current outcomes. She has also conducted separate consultations for potential participants in the Program.
