OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2009. The state budget bill for 2010 projects a deficit not exceeding 2.7 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), or 1.5% of GDP, Finance Minister Andrei Kharkovets told the lower chamber of parliament, the House of Representatives when presenting the bill.

“Consolidated budget revenues are projected at 53 trillion rubles, or 30.4% of GDP, and budget deficit is expected within 2.7 trillion rubles, or 1.5% of GDP,” he said.

In 2009, Belarus is expected to have a deficit-free budget.
