OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2009. Some 50 convenience stores have been opened in the centre of Moscow this year, the same number is planned for 2010.

“The work aimed at developing the convenience retailing goes on in the district,” the local prefect Aleksey Aleksandrov told journalists on December 10.

According to the official, more than 180 stores in the centre of Moscow provide the 5-20% discounts to WWII veterans, families bringing up physically challenged children and other persons entitled to benefits.
