OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2009. The NASDAQ OMX Baltic stock exchanges in Vilnius, Tallinn and Riga have announced the results of the Baltic Market Awards for 2009 of the Baltic securities market, reported the press-centre of Siauliu Bankas.

The conducted analysis indicated that Siauliu bankas is one of the most progressive companies in terms of providing information to the market. Siauliu bankas has been also granted an award for listing the bank’s shares on the NASDAQ OMX Vilnius for 15 years.

According to the experts, the assessment results of Siauliu bankas’ information disclosure and investment relations in 2009 have increased by 11 per cent in comparison with 2009 and exceeded not only the average of each analyzed category of the enterprises of Vilnius but also of all the Baltic enterprises as well. Siauliu bankas has improved the results in each evaluated category, i.e. in provided annual report, interim reports, reports on stock events, the company’s website and the analysts’ assessments.  Siauliu bankas scored 83,29 points out of 100. It is emphasized that the bank pays much attention to structure, particularity and consecutiveness of the information. In the list of the best evaluated Baltic enterprises Siauliu bankas was the only bank from Lithuania having the biggest sore and taking the 17th place, while it was the eighth among the best evaluated Lithuanian companies.

The results that are by 11 per cent better that in previous year show that Siauliu bankas is making a progress. The Baltic securities market awards in the Baltic States are held on annual basis. During the process of assessment the strong and weak aspects of the information provided by the companies in the Baltic States are analyzed, the companies are inter-compared and received data are compared with the results achieved in previous year.
