OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2009. Under the Government’s decree passed, this amount of the enterprise’s debt to the Ministry of Finance on the credit received from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development within the framework of the First agricultural project for modernization of the experimental workshop for production of wines at the National-Vine Winery will be transformed into state investments.

It is planned to transform the debt into the state’s shares and to increase the enterprise’s authorized capital. On July 3, 2006, the state enterprise “National-Vin Winery” signed the agreement with the Ministry of Finance undertaking to repay the debt on the credit till July 15, 2016. However, the actions taken by the enterprise to recover the financial situation didn’t give expected results. Besides, the fact that Russia stopped importing Moldovan wines also had a negative influence.

That is why the National-Vin Winery addressed to the Government for assistance noting that it can’t fulfill the credit return obligations undertaken by it.
