OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2009. Ingosstrakh OJSIC’s branch in Saint Petersburg settled 24,769 insured events related to various types of motor vehicle insurance during the first 11 months of 2009, for a total amount of 1.25 billion rubles, including 78.4 million rubles for compulsory motor third party liability insurance (CMTPL).

The total amount of indemnity paid by the branch for voluntary motor hull insurance from January to November 2009 amounted to 1.17 billion rubles, of which 1.07 billion rubles were paid to individuals (21,014 insured events) and 105.4 million rubles to corporate entities (1,469 insured events).

Major motor hull insurance indemnity payments include the following:

4 million rubles and 3.5 million rubles for total loss of an AUDI A8 and an IVECO, respectively;

3.5 million rubles for theft of an AUDI Q7;

2.9 million rubles for total loss of a SCANIA lorry;

2.8 million rubles for theft of an AUDI Q7.

All the vehicles were insured under the full motor hull insurance programs against theft and damage.
