OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2009. The largest public transport company of Nakhodka "Orient Auto-1" purchased 10 passenger buses for use on urban routes. New vehicles will carry passengers from Nakhodka to Livadia and Vrangel.

All the buses were manufactured by the south-Korean company "Daewoo". The years of manufacture are 2005 – 2007. Each bus has a very little mileage done. All the buses will be used for urban routes. 13.5 million rubles were spent for purchase of new vehicles.

Today all the buses are located on the territory of the bus depot. First of all buses must have a vehicle certificate. Hence, in order to gain such certificate, a vehicle will first have to be approved for e.g. brakes, emissions, noise, etc. Moreover, buses must also be registered in the State Road Traffic Safety Inspection. After that, buses will be used on urban routes.

Public transport companies purchase new buses under the municipal target program "Increase of road traffic safety in Nakhodka city district in 2007-2012". Thus, 23 new vehicles were purchased by these companies in 2009.
