OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2009. Russia contributes RUB 40 bn to FGC charter capital for investments. Federal Grid Company (FGC) has floated 54.64% of an additional share issue and raised through state participation RUB 40.2 bn for its investment program, the company said in a press release.

FGC, which unites trunk grids of the unified energy system, placed via open subscription only 80.04 bn shares of the planned 146.5 bn additional common registered shares with RUB 0.50 par value each. As a result of the SPO, Russia’s equity position in FGC’s charter capital came to 79.11%, FGC reported.
