OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2009. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Board of Renaissance Holding Erman Ilicak and President of Renaissance Construction Akvardar Huseyin Avni.

Expressing gratitude to the Turkmen leader for the opportunity of a personal meeting the guests wished a Happy New Year to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and expressed belief that in 2010 Turkmenistan would continue to move forward resolutely along the chosen path of progress and prosperity under his wise and prudent leadership.

During the conversation the top managers of the large holding briefed Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the activities of the company, which ranked among the world’s leaders in construction industry. It was noted that offering a broad range of services from design to turnkey construction of large-scale industrial and civil facilities Renaissance Holding had been actively collaborating in hundreds of the projects in many countries, particularly in the CIS states.

Focusing on the company’s keen interest and willingness to establish long-term cooperation with dynamically developing Turkmenistan Mr. Erman Ilicak underscored the huge potential of the Turkmen market that employed its hug economic potential to create the favourable investment climate and the advantageous conditions for foreign business.

In his turn, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan was open for mutually advantageous partnership based on mutual confidence and respect noting that a key field of possible partnership between Turkmenistan and the construction holding could be collaboration in new projects aimed at developing modern urban and tourist infrastructure that was viewed in Turkmenistan as a government priorities.

Inviting Renaissance Holding to contribute to implementing the large-scale urban development programmes launched in different regions of the country including the creation of Avaza national tourism zone on the Caspian seashore, the Turkmen leader expressed the readiness to consider the potential partner’s proposals.

During the meeting Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved the draft project on construction of the building of the Polytechnic University and thoroughly reviewed and made some specific comments on the draft projects on construction of a Children’s World store and a shopping centre in Ashgabat and a five-star hotel in Avaza.

In conclusion the guests are cordially thanked Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the opportunity to discuss the aspects and prospects for cooperation during the personal meeting and expressed belief that the effective and fruitful dialogue would be established.
