OREANDA-NEWS. December 31, 2009. Nakhodka Commercial Seaport (NCSP is part of Evraz Group) gains its capacity buying state-of-the-art equipment. Now with three new grabs of Russia made, having advanced technical features, the company press office quotes Vladimir Vladimirov chief engineer of the NCSP as saying. The acquired equipment will ensure efficiency and high quality loading and unloading operations at the port, that is especially important in winter as well as minimizing the costs of maintenance of equipment.

The equipment for the 20-ton cranes "Sokol” has been purchased under the program of renovation of production facilities of the port. Cranes will be used for transshipment of bulk cargo.

Nakhodka Commercial Sea Port JSC is the top stevedore company in the port of Nakhodka. NCSP is part of Evraz Group and is the major point of seaborne cargo shipment of products produced by the group's subsidiaries to Asian market. The Port throughput in 2008 reached 15.2 million tons. The company’s net profit that year was at 474.676 million rubles against 123.114 million rubles of net loss in 2007.
