OREANDA-NEWS. January 6, 2010. National Bank of Kazakhstan put a batch of banknotes in circulation in denominations of 1 thousand tenge (current 148.46 / USD 1) devoted to Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in OSCE in 2010 on Tuesday.

According to the National Bank, the circulation is 10 million units with the size of 134*70 mm, the predominant color is turquoise-green.

There are Kazakhstan’s coat of arms in the front of the bill, in the upper of left corner, and decorative pattern in the national style of flying birds in the bottom of right corner.

There are red-blue color digital text and denomination in the state language in the center of the bill.

Kazakh national ornaments were used throughout field of the bill. There are holographic image of the monument “Baiterek” in Astana and the logo of the National Bank on the right side of the banknote.

There is the state flag on the reverse side of the banknote in the lower left corner. There is the image of “Ak Orda” residence of Kazakhstan’s President in the center of the bill against the background of “Baiterek” world monument. In the central lower part of the banknote - the text of denomination in Russian language.
