OREANDA-NEWS. January 12, 2010. Several product items by PAVA received gold awards at the qualifying round of international contest “Gemma – Best products and services in Eurasia”. The company won a medal for its own innovation – wheat flour “Zhitnitsa”, along with traditional high and first flour grades, and semolina, which is widely popular on the Russian market.

The winners award ceremony took place on December 25, 2009. Participants of the competition were companies from the Ural, Siberia and Far East regions, and also, for the first time, representatives of China and South Korea took part in the awards.

PAVA structure includes three flour mills in the Altay and Krasnoyarsk Territories, and their overall grain processing capacities are the largest East of Urals.

“International Gemma awards are of special value to us. The main criteria of the panel are consumer quality and safety of the products. We are pleased that our own development “Zhitnitsa” flour was noted by the selection committee. This is the only flour grade which contains live grain cells due to modern processing technologies”, says Andrey Ananin, PAVA Managing Director.
