OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2010. Development of principles for the single settlement-payment space in the CIS, active involvement in the financial markets of Russia, the CIS and the Baltic countries are the key distinctive features of the Program for complex servicing of financial institutes of Russia and the CIS on the “Bank for Banks” Site, reported the press-centre of ITB.

This Program is one of the priorities in activities of Investtradebank. By the end of 2009 the number of partners in the IBC–Forex market reached 350, in banknote operations – 150. 65 financial institutions became loro correspondents of Investtradebank with the balances on their accounts approaching 2 billion rubles.

The “Bank for Banks” Site allows the partner banks receiving through the “single window” a wide range of banking products: deposit and conversion operations, settlement multicurrency business, documentary operations, a full range of services in the stock markets of Russia, operations with banknotes, encashment services, information and methodological support from the International Banking Club “ANALYTICS UNLIMITED”.

Today the Bank already maintains a large share of ruble settlements between economic subjects, connected to commodity turnover in Russia and the CIS. Last year the Bank started developing its banknote business, paid special attention to expansion of its investment banking – in 2009 we joined the TOP 35 Russian banks by volume of the emission securities portfolio in our assets. In October 2009 ITB successfully placed its 04 series bonds in the MICEX in amount of 1.5 billion rubles. Last year was successful also in the field of trade finance services for banks of the CIS countries. In 2009 ITB financed contracts of its clients – partner banks from the Republic of Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan through documentary business instruments to the amount of over 20 million US dollars.

ITB acted as one of the key organizers of the syndicated loan to the OJSC “Belagroprombank” and became the single Russian private bank, participating in this transaction. It was ITB’s debut in the syndicated loan market and a sequent step towards its extending cooperation with the CIS banks in the framework of the Program for complex servicing of financial institutes.
