OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2010. Thus, according to the ANRE’s decision, a new tariff for electricity supply for HEC-1 will amount to 131.84 bani for 1 kWh instead of current 138.38 bani (- 4.7%), for heat supply- 455.78 leis for Gcal instead of 512.05 leis (-11%).

New tariff for electricity supply for HEC-2 will make 96,60 bani for 1 kWh instead of 104.28 bani (-7,4%). The new tariff for heat, supplied to HEC-2 is 375.72 leis per Gcal instead of 410.44 leis (-8,5%). The new electricity tariff for Balti HEC-Nord is 103.03 bani per 1 kWh instead of 106.56 bani (-3,3%).

Tariff for heat supplied by the companies to the consumers remained at the same level - 786 leis per Gcal. HEC representatives called the new tariffs for heat and electricity, set by ANRE, rigid. At the same time, they stated that in times of the crisis they take them for granted and expressed hope that in future situation will improve.

They emphasized that the equipment is obsolete and companies need modernization. The happiest turned out to be Termocom representatives, who noted that tariff for heat which increased from 540 up to 699 leis is a step forward in situation when rates did not change for 10 years and the enterprise has accumulated debts of 2,5 billion leis before heat and gas suppliers. They noted that after the approval of the new tariff they will be able to repay debts to the partners.
