Alfa-Bank & Other Top Russian Banks Extend Loan to Belarus
OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2010. Alfa-Bank, Sberbank Russia, Vnesheconombank and Gazprombank extended a syndicated loan to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus in the amount of 6 bn. rubles for over one year, reported the press-centre of Alfa-Bank.
The loan made by top Russian banks to the republic of Belarus shall be used to develop economic relations between the two countries.
In addition, Alfa-Bank, Sberbank Russia, Vnesheconombank and Gazprombank are appointed arrangers for placing state bonds of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian stock market with the offered volume of 15 bn. rubles.
